Knowledge Angels brings together emerging talent, academics, researchers, industry professionals and organisations to share knowledge, develop ideas and collaborate on meaningful projects across space, extreme engineering and other interdisciplinary fields.
Why Knowledge Angels?
Why Knowledge Angels?
The name Knowledge Angels is inspired by the idea of business angels. While business angels typically contribute capital, Knowledge Angels contribute something equally valuable: knowledge, experience, connections, mentoring and opportunities.
Our community connects people across generations, disciplines and sectors, helping promising ideas develop through learning, research, collaboration and real-world projects.
Who we work with:
What do we mean by extreme engineering? Click here.
Extreme engineering applies engineering and interdisciplinary thinking to challenges that push the boundaries of what is technically, physically or socially possible.
These challenges often arise in demanding environments and under severe constraints – from remote regions and space to resource-limited communities and other situations where conventional solutions are no longer sufficient.
For Knowledge Angels, extreme environments are places to test technology and opportunities to explore how people, systems and communities can adapt, collaborate and thrive under constraint.

For the Knowledge Angels community.
“Every now and then a human’s mind is stretched by a new idea or sensation, and never shrinks back to its former dimensions.”
